Obituary

Mrs. Olga "Nikki" McKnight Johnson was born January 18, 1978 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Freddie Thomas and Alice Walker McKnight, Sr.

She was affectionately known as “Nickie”.

At the age of four she moved to South Carolina with her family. She attended the public schools of Sumter SC and later graduated from Sumter High School. After graduation she worked several jobs in various fields. After many years of working in the HealthCare System, she started her own business doing Income Taxes, known as Johnson Tax Service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Johnson and a brother, Terry A. McKnight.

Olga succumbed on February 4, 2021 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memories four sons, Torrah Wright, Terrek Wright, Tyianna Wright and Shawn Johnson; two daughters, Kirsten Johnson and Quesha Johnson; mother -in-love, Libby Johnson, four siblings, Freddie McKnight Sr., Bobby (Ashonda) McKnight, Sr, Seletta Mcknight and Branett Lafayette; special god sisters and brothers, Roselyn Rogers, Scherri Rogers (Donny), Yolanda June (Travis), Sabrina Hunt, Monique Hunt, Kiesha Davis, Tonya Livingston, Shekeeta Davis, Freda Murphy (Marcus), Bridget Copelane, Regina O. Bryant, Cedric Williams, Craig Wright and Eric Miller; special aunts, Sarah Williams, Ruby Rogers and Diane Randall, a host of nieces, nephews and her eastside family and friends.
