Norman “Shorty” Bradley was born October 4, 1943, in Sumter County to the late Walter and Sarah Bradley.
Norman was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. He worked for Frasier Tires until his health started to decline. Even then, Norman was able to live an abundant life. He was the most easy going person anyone could meet. He enjoyed sitting back watching his western movies and just reminiscing on the old days. He loved to help whoever needed help and his sense of humor and warm spirit will forever be missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Bradley, his brother Walter Bradley, Jr, three sisters, Mary Ella Bradley, Addie Bell Glover and Julia Mae Glover.
Norman departed his earthly journey on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
He leaves to cherish his memories, six children, Edward Steve Bradley of Sumter, SC, Paul (Shelia) Bradley of Sumter, SC, Shaw (Eartha) Bracey of Sumter, SC, Paula (Tommy) Robinson of Sumter, SC, Kevin (Rosaleen) Bracey of Stockbridge, GA and Janika Bracey of Sumter, SC; two sisters, Janie Lou McKnight of Sumter, SC and Willie Alma Bradley of Sumter, SC, a brother, Larry (Hattie) Bradley of Sumter, SC; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and Keaun Bracey and Amya Sanders, who resides in the home; he also leaves to cherish his memories, the mother of four of his children, Ronetta Bracey of Sumter, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM from Bradford Cemetery with Pastor Willie A Wright, Officiating.
