Leonte Javon Dennis affectionally known as “Tae Tae or Rim Rod Jr. “ was born June 25, 1999 in Sumter to Robert Lee and Keisha Alston Dennis.
He received his education in the public schools of Sumter County. Leonte graduated from Crestwood High School and was a member of the graduation Class of 20018. He was employed at Walmart Neighborhood Market for two years.
Tae Tae was infatured with dirt bokes and video games. He was very quiet, humble person who stayed to himself. He was very well mannered and had so much respect for everyone he met. He didn't mind helping others and he held a genuine heart.
In 2016, he met his soulmate, Tykelia Hickmon and to this special union two children was born, Nyphon Prince and Ja’lonte Dennis. Becoming a father was Leonte pride and joy. He cherished every moment with his family and was a very affectionate and overprotected when it cane to his family.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Harmony Williams Alston, maternal great-grandmother, Bertha Lee Alston, paternal-great grandmother, Moot Ramsey and paternal grandfather, Leethomas Butts.
He gained his heavenly wings on Monday, June 14, 2021.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories; his parents, Robert Leon and Keisha Alston Dennis of Dalzell, SC; his grandparents, Barbara (Terry) Richardson, Rosa Lee (Robert) Dennis of Dalzell, SC; his fiancé, Tykelia Hickmon; two sons, Nyphon Price and Ja’lonte Dennis; his siblings, Kyisha Altson, Jhasmine Alston both of Dalzell, SC, Robert Dennis and Lovese Dennis both of Rembert, SC and Donald Richardson of Monroe, NC; a uncle, Alonzo Butts of New Jersey, six aunts, Amanda Butts of New York, Renee (Dewayne) Pittman of Columbia, SC, Antoinette Taylor of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Phelps, Gloria Miller and Cynthia Wright of Sumter, SC and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends
