Jermaine was born on February 28, 1977, in Sumter, South Carolina. He was the beloved first born to Mary Louise Williams and the late Howard Williams.
Jermaine graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1995, where he was a member of the football team and was well known amongst his peers. He later met and dated Reese Amos from Sumter, SC.
Jermaine spent over ten years working at Palmetto Pigeon Plant and Kenny's Car Care. He was quiet yet dedicated to helping others. He was known for saying “I got it” or sharing jokes.
As a young man, Jermaine attended Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church in Mayesville, SC, where he actively served as an usher. Mr. Williams relocated and later found a church home at Triumph International Ministries in Sumter, SC.
Jermaine was simply a considerate and humble spirit, who loved his children, friends, and sports. His love of laughter and service to others, left a lasting impression on many who knew him.
On January 25, 2021, Jermaine D. Williams at the age of 43, he entered into eternal rest in Sumter, SC
He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons; Jeremiah Amos and Josh Williams, two daughters; Ebony Amos and Andrea Williams, Sumter, South Carolina; his mother, Mary L. Williams, Sumter, South Carolina; his companion, Reese Amos, Sumter, SC; one brother, Marcus Williams, Atlanta Georgia; one sister, Sharell Brooks, Fayetteville, North Carolina; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends whose lives he impacted.
