Obituary

It's with deep and profound sorrow that we annoucne the passing of Mr. James Allen Dingle, age 51, the husband of Mrs. Sharon Farmer Dingle.
James Allen Dingle Jr., affectionately known as "June Bug" was born on August 27,1968 in Sumter to the late James Allen and Mary Carolyn Dingle, Sr.  
James attended and received his education from Sumter High School and was trained in electrical work at the Sumter County Career Center.  Upon graduation he joined the United States Navy, after leaving the Navy he    performed electrical and construction services for Jerry Mathis and Wilson Roofing Builders, also performing electrical services for many businesses and residents throughout the state. He thoroughly enjoyed being an         electrician.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tawanda S. Dingle; in laws, Winslow and Dorothy Mae Shaw of  Philadelphia, PA;  his maternal grandparents, Ida Lesesne and James Lesesne;  paternal grandparents, Annie Mae Session and Moses Dingle;  maternal great grandparents Rebecca Blair and Charlie Stukes, two aunts, Barbera Jean Manning, and Jeanette Dingle, two uncles, Joseph Lesesne and John Lesesne. 
James  departed this life on June 6, 2020 at his home in Sumter. 
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife Sharon Dingle, his caregiver and very special companion of many years, Dawnyetta  Polite;  two sons, LaBanta Butler of Sumter, SC and Rashawn Shaw of Philadelphia, PA; two daughters, LaQuetta Butler of Sumter, SC and    Nyiesha Harris of Philadelphia, PA; three sons which he raised as his own; Robert Polite, Brandon Polite and Rodney Polite; in laws, Winslow Shaw, Sr, of Philadelphia,  a sister; Patricia (George) of Sumter, SC,  three brothers; Timothy, (Genia and Thomasina) of Sumter, SC, Robert (Donna) Dingle of Charlotte, NC, and James Allen Ford of Columbia, SC, one aunt; Annie Pearl Smith of Patterson, NJ, five uncles, David (Nardra) Lesesne of Conyers, GA, James (Arlita) Lesesne of Baltimore, MD, Alfonsa Dingle of Sumter, SC, Harry Lee  Dingle of Fayetteville, NC and Pastor Moses Dingle of Sumter, SC, four sister in laws, Annette F. Holmes of Sumter, SC, Jackie, Janice, and Jennifer Farmer of New Jersey,  a brother in law, Winslow (Jeanine) Shaw of New Jersey; twenty-five grandchildren all of which  he enjoyed spending time with and who he loved dearly, he was a father figure to the following nieces and nephews; Leroy Harvin, Jr., Erika Harvin, Brandon Harvin, Rashawn and Rashad Harvin, Kasheena Harvin, Timothy Dingle, Jr., Damien Dingle, Shakayla and Shameka Dingle, best friends, Lee Wilson of Sumter, SC, Michael Ransome of Sumter, SC,     Anthony Burrough of Charlotte, NC and Mark Stukes of Sumter, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. 
The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister and brother in law, George and Patricia Wilson 510 Bracey Court Sumter, SC.
