Isaac Duffie, Sr. was born March 22, 1950, in Wedgefield, SC to Hattie Clines Duffie and the late Marvin Duffie, Sr.
He was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a 1969 graduate of Ebenezer High School. He was formerly employed and retired from Madison Industries, Sumter for over 35 years.
Isaac was affectionately known by “Foot”, "Sam Boe” and "Pop" to his family and friends. At an early age he received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at Orange Hill AME Church.
On August 28, 1969, he married the love of his life, Willie Mae Davis and to this union five children were born.
Isaac was a very outgoing and loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and a special friend to many. He enjoyed fishing and was a man of many different talents.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Duffie, Jr., two sister-in-laws, Deborah Davis and Martha Ann Duffie, two brothers-in-laws, Bobby Davis and Willie James Watts, niece, Angela Davis and nephew Jamicia Jackson.
Isaac leaves to cherish his precious memories; his wife, Willie Mae Davis Duffie; three sons, Willie (Polina) Davis, Isaac (Knadja) Davis and Terrence Duffie; two daughters, Patricia Duffie and Dimetria (Ylysees) Bell; a special granddaughter reared in the home, Tawanda Duffie; his mother, Hattie Duffie; brother, Bill (Carrie) Duffie; thirteen grandchildren, Clifford, Traveon, Demonte, Ivy, Brooklyn, Jayden, Marquis, Ny”Asia, Travies, Isis, Willie, Jr, Elijah and Tony; ten great-grandchildren, Na’Kera, Javontae, Taekwon, Skymera, Harlem, Jayden, Travies Jr, Avery, Epik , Jayceon and London; one great-grandchild, Kaecyn; three sisters-in-law, Sallie Brunson, Francine Davis and Stella Montgomery; two special friends, Ed Rhodes and Carlisle Anderson and a host of neices, nephews other relatives and friends.
