Harriette G. Dinkins was born October 17, 1955 in Sumter to the late Moses and Celestine Wright Dinkins, Sr.
She attended school in Sumter School District and graduated from the old Sumter High School.
Nell was compassionate, charismatic. She also know how to use her words and you knew she meant business. Anyone who had encounter with her would always say how funny and loving. She was and could say whatttt like nobody else Nell will truly Be missed.
At an early age she was united in Holy Matrimony to Shead Sweat, Jr.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her grandmother, Mary Wright, a brother Torren Dinkins and a step-son, Rommelle Goode.
It was Tuesday morning May 25, 2021 when life’s voyage came to and end for Harriett affectionally known as Nell at MUSC Hopsital in Charleston, SC.
She leaves to mourn her passing; her companion, Gary Wingard who loved her dearly; her children, Charles Eudrice Dinkins, Crystal Yudelka Sweat (Aaron) Morris, step-children; Danielle Sweat, Sparkle Sealey, Christopher Williams, Gavin Williams, Kirby Williams and Constance Williams-Bowser; eighteen grandchildren; a special grandson, Nee’Char Dinkins and his mother, Renee Boatwright; two sisters, Delores Wright and Beverly Dinkins of Brooklyn, NY; five brothers, Terry (Lillie) Dinkins of Dallas, TX, Moses (Shelly) Dinkins, Jr of Albany, NY, Barry (Nadine) Dinkins of Brooklyn, NY, Andre (Ann) Dinkins of Syracuse, NY and Terrence Dinkins of Bronx, NY and a host of nieces, nephews and a very dear friend Angonetha Singleton.
