Obituary Zackie "Joe" Bracey was born March 20, 1950 in Sumter to the late Zackie and Nellie Leneau Bracey, Sr. He was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. He was a loving and spirit filled man. He was a devoted father, brother and grandfather. Joe enjoyed painting in his spare time, he loved to dress in his suites, he was also a Golden Glove Boxer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter (Sophia) Bracey and John Henry (Elease) Leneau. He departed this life on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Sumter. He leaves to cherish his memories; a daughter, Stephanie Jefferson; two sisters, Susan Ragin and Lou Bracey; three brothers, Matthew (Diane) Bracey, Willie Edward Bracey and Leroy Bracey; four grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.       To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Zackie "Joe" Bracey, please visit our floral store.
