Xavier Devon “Spud” Knight was born June 28, 2002, in Columbia, South Carolina to Erica Marie Dinkins and Derrick Devon Knight.

“Spud” was educated in the public schools of Sumter County, and graduated from Sumter High School. He worked as a landscaper. “Spud” enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and gaming. He had a heart bigger than his body and most importantly he was going to make you laugh.

“Spud” was preceded in death by his grandfather, Luke Taylor; great grandmother, Sophie Fleming and a cousin, Christopher Johnson, Jr.

“Spud” transitioned from this life on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Manning, South Carolina.
