Willie Lee Pugh was born on September 10, 1962, in Sumter South Carolina to Carrie Pugh Johnson. He Attended Manchester High in Pinewood South Carolina. He worked for Evans and Geddings Constructions for twenty-five plus years. Williw was proceeded in death by one sister, Rebecca Pugh; one granddaughter, Jiajah Lloyd; and a lifelong companion, Annie Alston. Willie departed this life on Saturday December 9, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, South Carolina. Those who remain with his cherished memories are his daughter, Tausha Wilson of Lynchburg, Virginia; five grandchildren, Jayquan Wilson, Kevonte Lammie, Jaion Lloyd, Kazyah Lloyd, and Jahmir Bennett; one great granddaughter, Tamira Wilson; one step daughter, Michelle Cousins; his mother, Carrie Pugh of Pinewood, South Carolina; two brothers, Dana (Pam) Pugh of Paxville, South Carolina and Issac Pugh of Pinewood, South Carolina; one sister, Debris Pugh of Boston, Massachusetts; three special friends, Wayne Geddings, Woody Singleton, Eric Kolb and a close cousin, Jason Pugh; also raised as brothers and sisters, Marion Pugh, Brenda Walker, Stacy Pugh, and Shirel Richardson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
