Mr. Willie Heyward McGee Sr. was born July 23, 1958, in Oswego, South Carolina to the late Booker T. Sr. and Edith Mae Toney McGee. He attended the public schools of Sumter County, and during his youth, he was a member of Unionville AME Church in Lee County. Willie was also the owner and operator of his own landscaping business. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Yvonne "Judy" McGee. Willie departed this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in Sumter, South Carolina. Willie leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Debra Cyr McGee of New Jersey; children, Todderick (Sherry) Damon of Greenwood, South Carolina, Kelvin (Theresa) Mitchell of Sumter, South Carolina, Willie H. McGee Jr., and Zamorra McGee, both of Pennsylvania, T'Angelo (Bakisye) McGee of Hackensack New Jersey, Malik McGee of Ft. Lauderdale Florida, Jasmine McGee of Canada, Tylar McGee and Tabatha McGee of Somerset, New Jersey; twenty-three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Lee Muldrow, and Booker T. (Lula) McGee Jr., both of Sumter South Carolina, Leroy (Marilyn) McGee of Coldwater, Mississippi, Tyron (Kim) McGee of Fresno, California, Andre (Angelica) White of Maplewood, New Jersey, and Andre M. Barcus of Palm Beach, Florida; sisters, Mary Lee Muldrow, Juanita (Isaac) Green, both of Sumter, South Carolina, Fredrica Sarah McGee of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Clarythe Barcus of Newark New Jersey; very special friend; Stephanie Fullwood; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
