Obituary Willie Lawson, Jr., entered into eternal rest November 6, 2012 at Springdale HealthCare in Camden, S.C. Willie was born December 5, 1930 to the late Willie Lawson, Sr. and Janie Adamson Lawson.Willie was educated in the Public Schools of Kershaw County. He had a great love for cars and motorcycles and a passion for music and playing the guitar.Willie was first married to the late Rosa Lee Durant Lawson for forty years and to this union eight children were born. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a faithful working member of his family church, Good Hope United Methodist Church in Rembert, S.C.Willie later married Mrs. Lizzie Terry Lawson and became a member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Boykin, S.C. where he served his God, his church and his community under the leadership of Pastor Willie Dyers until his health failed.Willie was preceased in death by three children; Timothy Hunter, Willie Edward Lawson and Mary Taylor . He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories: six daughters; Janie (David) Loyd, Stella (George) Middleton of Rembert, S.C., Sarah (Vander) Ragin of Warner Robins, G.A., Angela Lawson, Bernice (James) Blair of Camden, S.C., Shirley (Harrison) Mayrant of Sumter, S.C., three sons; Charlie Lawson, Samuel (Rose Mary) Lawson, Jerry (Almetta) Lawson all of Camden, S.C. James Andre Lawson, a grandson raised in the home as a son, and a stepson, Henry Addison of Lugoff, S.C. Thomasina Williams (a first cousin raised as a sister), two sister-in-laws; Sally Pearl Carter of Washington, D.C. and Mary Thompson of Camden, S.C. Forty grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, five nieces; Evangelist Barbara (Stanley) Dinkins of Rembert, S.C., Deborah (Jack) Jones, Carolyn Murray, Betty Carter, all of Washington, D.C. and Maggie Hayes of Camden, S.C. and a host of other relatives and friends.
