Obituary Wallace "Big Dog" Wright was born March 15, 1952 in Lynchburg, Lee County, SC to the late Woodrow and Lottie Mae Edmond Wright. Wallace was educated in the public schools of Lee County, where he was a member of the graduating class of 1971 from Mt. Pleasant High School and furthered his education at Texas College for Physical Education. For many years, he had a love for baseball and served as a coach for many years. We think he loved baseball, more than he loved us!!! Wallace worked for many years as a shipping and receiving clerk, as well as forklift operator for Pilgrims Pride in Sumter, SC. Mr. Wallace "Big Dog" Wright departed this earthly life and gained his heavenly wings on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey. Wallace leaves to cherish his precious memory, his devoted wife, Cynthia Jones Wright of the home; three children, Chata (Randy) Seegars of Florence, SC, Quentin (Lauren) Jones of Ladson, SC and Justin Wright of the home; two grandchildren, Heaven Blakney and Zacchaeus Seegars both of Florence, SC; five brothers, Bobby Wright, Willis Wright, Roosevelt (Shirley) Wright, Dennis Samuel and Willie Samuel; two sisters, Minnie Pearl Lyde and Zelda Spann and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Willie James Wright and one sister, Julia Ann Wright Sims.
