Tyrone Caughman was born March 8, 1983, in Sumter, South Carolina to Sara Caughman Osborne and the late Henry "Puddie" Holliday. Tyrone was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and Lakewood High School. He worked as a landscaper and enjoyed working at the Sumter County Fair each year. Tyrone loved spending time with his family and friends as well as playing basketball in the circle with his friends. In addition to his father, Tyrone was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bessie L. Baxter, Mary Caughman and Tommy Tindal. Tyrone departed this life on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Sumter, South Carolina. Tyrone leaves to cherish his memories one son, Cameron Caughman of New York City, New York; his mother, Sara Caughman Osborne of Sumter, South Carolina; four siblings, Henry Caughman of Homestead, Florida, Samantha (Herbert) Tindal, Vanessa (Darryl) Wright and Stacey (Antrell) Felder, all of Sumter, South Carolina; two special cousins, Toney Baxter and Kelvin Baxter; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends from Hwy 15 South who will dearly miss him.
