Trey Davon Burns-Ingram

Trey Davon Burns Ingram was born on October 19, 1999, at Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Roosevelt R. Ingram and Alleggra Keith.

Trey, affectionately known as “Fat Daddy” and “Big Fella”, graduated from Sumter High South Carolinahool in Sumter SOUTH CAROLINA. Trey was employed by E. Miller Express as a truck driver, working alongside his "step daddy" Eric daily delivering cement all over North Carolina and South Carolina. Trey was a very hard working, dependable and affectionate young man always asking for extra loads and rarely taking a day off.

Trey was the sweetest, kindest, loving, most generous (but cheap), selfless young man. Trey was cheap, but he didn’t mind spending money on the ladies. Trey was the type of young man that would see you in Walmart, greet you with a big smile and an even bigger hug and walk around with you as if no time had passed at all. He wouldn’t spend the time catching up but would spend it being in the moment; asking if you liked what he picked out for somebody or asking what you were shopping for and would leave you with that same big smile and hug. Trey was a gentle giant and a big teddy bear. He would help anybody with anything, no questions asked, no hesitation.

Trey was the type of young man to carry the groceries of the elderly or say "God Bless you" to a stranger if he heard them sneeze. Trey was our grill master. Trent and Mikki would come to the house on Sundays and while we prepared the sides, Trey was on the grill. Trey was big on family relationships and took pride in being the "Big little" brother to Mikki and big brother to Trent. Trey loved his sisters and brothers and really loved on his daddy "Timmy" and Grandma Pansy.

Trey took pride in his 01 Chevy Tahoe with the system, always playing the old school music that he loved so much; Jodeci, Earth Wind & Fire, Luther Vandross, Marving Gaye, Al Green, I Wanna Be Your Man, by Zapp, Make it Last Forever, by Keith Sweat and Love TKO by Teddy Pendergrass!

Trey was preceded in death by his father, Roosevelt R Ingram; grandmothers, Daisy Taylor and Rebecca Ingram; a very special aunt, Gloria Jefferson; uncles, Terry and Jeffrey Ingram; aunt, Barbara Richardson; and two very special cousins, TJ and Tyon Byrd.

Trey departed this life on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in Sumter, South Carolina.
