https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/tisher-johnson-white Mrs. Tisher Johnson White was born on July 3, 1936, to the late James and Catherine Allen Johnson in Sumter, South Carolina. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter, County and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954. She then married the love of her life, the late Hazel White, Jr. Tisher was employed by Kaydon Bearings. When she retired, it was with twenty-four years of dedicated service. She loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, with all her heart. Though she was a humble, gentle woman; Tisher was nonetheless a servant and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful servanthood have had on her family, friends and the community. She was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church. She was active on the Women's Auxiliary, Stewardess Board, Pastor Aide Ministry and wherever her gifts and talents were needed. Tisher was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into her motherhood. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her family and friends while embracing every moment with them, especially to her grandchildren. She loved a good yard sale and cooking delicious meals while enjoying lively conversations and fellowship with those she considered dear to her. She was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children and grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.
