Stanley Andy "Gill" McGill was born February 27, 1966, in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Irene McGill. Stanley was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. He worked at Pilgrim Pride for many years until his health failed. Stanley enjoyed celebrating each day of his life with great food, music, and spending quality time with those he loved. Stanley loved watching sports.  Stanley was married to Diane Sumpter and from this union came one son, Brandon Maurice McGill. In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his sister, Agnes Dinkins. Stanley departed this life on Friday, May 10, 2024, at his residence in Sumter, South Carolina. Stanley leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Diane S. McGill; two children, Brandon McGill of Sumter, South Carolina and Chenika Sumpter of Lithonia, Georgia; two brothers, David (Virginia) McGill of Sumter, South Carolina and Marvin (April) McGill Zof Pinewood, South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Willie (Terrie) Sumpter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special companion, Lorretta H. Gailliard.
