Shelia Yvonne Foxworth was born September 14,1962, in Hampton, Virginia, to the late Linwood Foxworth, Sr, and Barbara Jean Jones Foxworth. Shelia was employed as a professional seamstress for many years where she worked tirelessly until her health declined. Shelia attended and graduated from the public schools of Marion, SC. At an early age, she developed a personality that garnished laughter everywhere she went. She was seen and heard in every room she entered and believed in enjoying life to the fullest. Sheila loved spending time with her family, eating, watching television, dancing, and telling jokes. Shelia was preceded in death by her loving parents, an infant daughter, one son, DeAngelo Eugene James Foxworth (DJ), her youngest sister, Cynthia Foxworth-DeLoach, and two brothers-in-law, David DeLoach and Tyrone Herring. Shelia departed this life on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter, South Carolina. Shelia leaves to cherish her fond memories, her loving and devoted sons, Zavier Foxworth of Mullins, SC, Christopher Foxworth of Sumter, SC, Bryan Keith Foxworth (Bo) Foxworth of Virginia Beach, VA, and Robert (Quinetra) Foxworth of Youngstown, OH; sister, Sharon Foxworth-Herring of Washington, DC; two brothers, Linell Foxworth of Temple, TX, and Shawn (Angela) Foxworth of Sumter, SC; seven loving grandchildren, Miasia Aaliyah Wall, Christopher Michael Foxworth, Malachi Trevon Edie, Neil Foxworth, Dhanaji Foxworth, Amir Foxworth, and Bre Asia Foxworth; aunt, Brenda Nelson, of Hampton, VA; god-daughter, Shiquasha King; best friend, Judith Helena Davis; "special" family friend, Regina Avant; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and other dear friends.
