Shaun Cedric Croskey, was born October 21, 1982, in Sumter to Julia Tention Croskey and the late Edward Eugene Croskey. Shaun attended the public schools of Sumter County School District. He had a strong work ethic as he worked in Landscaping and construction. He enjoyed exploring the outdoors and he loved sports. He was a genuine, caring, giving, and loving person. He was very protective of his family and he would move mountains if he could. He loved to have fun and lived his life to the fullest. He was an all-around good person that would help anyone. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Demetrius Croskey, nephew, Tyrek Da'Shon Pendergrass, maternal grandparents, Corrine McDuffie Tention and Richard Tention, paternal Maybelle Croskey and Jimmie Croskey, Sr along with additional family members. He departed his life on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Sumter, SC. His loving memories will be cherished by his mother, Julia Tention Croskey; two sisters, Angela Nicole Croskey and Tamika Nadine Croskey, niece, Zhanique Quintina Croskey; four nephews, Edward Demetrius Croskey Jr, Tre Da'Shon-Eugene Croskey, Shykeim Derrick Smith and Derral D'Aundre Thomas; special friend, Bernay Richardson; eight uncles, six aunts and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
