Karwin was born on Monday, July 23, 1984 at 7:31 a.m. to Carolyn Scarborough June and LeeRoy Campbell in Sumter, S.C. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was nurtured from birth at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Bishopville, S.C. and joined Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Sumter, S.C. at a young age. Karwin was reared in Bishopville, S.C. His village was on Scarborough Street with his grandparents, aunts, cousin, friends, and all that resided on Scarborough Street. He often reminisced about his childhood and always said that he had a great childhood. Karwin graduated from Sumter High in 2002. He matriculated to South Carolina State University (Orangeburg, SC) and completed his Bachelor of Science with a major in History and a minor in English from Francis Marion University (Florence, SC) He served in the United States Army National Guard from July 2010 until his departure from this earth. Karwin was a resident of Brooklyn, NY, where he was most recently employed as a Drug and Alcohol Abuse Coordinator with Dynamic Systems Technology, Inc. (DYSTECH), and a Show Room Manager with HBF Textile in Manhattan, NY. Karwin was a caring, protective and devoted son. He left an impression on everyone he encountered. He will be remembered by family and friends for his warm embrace, wit, sarcasm, sense of humor, and family-oriented spirit. He was an avid reader and great story- teller. Karwin has left an unfillable void in his family and close friends lives. Our dear Karwin departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August. 9, 2022. This day has changed his mother and family lives forever. Karwin leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, father, close family members, siblings and great friends.
