Obituary Sammie Wright Jr. received his wings on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Lexington Hospital. Sammie Wright Jr. was born on October 11,1958 to the late Sammie and Delia Lou Crosby-Wright. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Orangehill R.M.U.E. Church (Orangehill Independent Methodist Church). Sammie Wright Jr. always had a smile on his face and enjoyed making people laugh. He found great pleasure with spending time with his family and having fun with his friends. Sammie Wright Jr. also enjoyed watching NASCAR and wrestling on television. Sammie Wright Jr. was employed at BP Gulf Station for 10 years. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: four sisters, Lula Mae Young of Sumter SC; Delores (Woodrow) McKnight of Sumter SC; Elizabeth Ball of Washington D.C.; and Bertha Thomas of Sumter SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and family that will be saddened by his passing.
