Obituary Sammie "Sneaky" Sharper, was born on March 27, 1960 in Sumter, SC to the late Raymond and Hattie Mae Amos Sharper.He was raised and cared for by the late Geneva Elsie McBride.Sammie was a graduate of the Class of 1978 from Sumter High. While he was in high school and after graduation, he was employed with Santee Print Works for several years until he retired. He later was employed with Prisma Health Tuomey for twenty-eight years until his untimely death.Sammie was known for exercising if not daily, every other day by walking around town. He was well known at work for his great smile and the smell of his cologne. He never met a stranger, loved to sing and he always listened to  music. If you ever came in contact with him you did not meet a stranger. He never complained, remained positive, and always was willing to lend a helping hand.He was also known for being a great cook, grilling and building porches.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Nelson.He departed this life on Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Sumter.Sammie leaves to cherish his precious memories; two daughters, Samantha T. (Sammie) Major of Dalzell, SC and Breanna Sharper of Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Kyleigh Savannah Pollard and Grayson Lee Major; three brothers, six sisters and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.
