Obituary Ms. Rose Gayle-Heyward, daughter of the late Eliza Balls and the late Damon Ramsey, was born on September 1, 1945 in Sumter, South Carolina. .She received education in the public schools of Sumter, South Carolina. She would later in life graduate from Chris Logan School of Cosmetology were she worked until her retirement.She joined Orange Hill A.M. E. church at an early age, where she was a member of the choir and a board member.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Balls and Hannibal Ball.She departed this life on April 10, 2020 in Greenville, South CarolinaShe leaves to mourn: a daughter Gwendolyn Daniels (Elbert) of Hopewell, Virginia, two sons, Robert Heyward (Quatika) of Greenville, South Carolina; Jammia Heyward of Sumter, South Carolina; two brothers, Damon Ramsey (Tammi),   Barry Ramsey (Shanta); a sister, Katie Shaw, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, grand children, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
