Rosa Mell Dunham was born on February 5,1961 in Sumter, South Carolina at Tuomey Hospital to the late Rosa Dunham Wilson and Charlie Wilson.  She was the fourth of nine children born to her parents. Rosa received her education from the public schools of Sumter, South Carolina, graduating from Sumter High School. She attended college at a local Technical School and spent a short time at Morris College, where she studied Secretarial Science.  Rosa enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and cooking with her mother, dancing, knitting, reading, shopping and watching television game shows. Rosa was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa E. Dunham Wilson; father, Charlie Wilson; and sister-in-law, Emma Dunham. Rosa peacefully departed this life at MUSC Health, Columbia, South Carolina on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Rosa leaves to cherish her precious memories, seven brothers, Willie L. Dunham, Vincent (Laura) Dunham, Charlie Dunham, Tyrone (Connie) Wilson, Stanley (Seketha) Wilson, Leon (Dale) Wilson and Willie Wilson; one sister, Corine McCary; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
