Obituary Peace be upon Ronald Edward Henderson, born to Benjamin and Lucille Henderson in Chicago, Illinois on November 30, 1940. Ronald passed peacefully from this world on Friday, June 26, 2015 in Dayton, Ohio.After graduating from Fenger High School in Chicago in 1958, Ronald joined the United States Army and was a tremendous force on the Army's Swim Team. He then went on to attend Central State University in Xenia, Ohio from 1961-1963 where he met and later married Phyllis J. Sims, who passed away in 1999. Their union brought forth four children, Phyllis, John Benjamin, Alexander Choma and Roni Nicole. He later met and fell in love with Teresa "Renee" McClellan and was a loving father figure to her children as well.Ron, known affectionately as "Fish" was an excellent athlete his entire life and he contributed greatly to his community as a lifeguard for many years. His poetic eloquence and sharp wit made his stories truly legendary and he was known for his profound advice and diplomacy. Ronald's voice in the world will surely be missed.He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Benjamin and Lucille Henderson; two of his brothers, Martin and Benjamin, Jr.; and his late wife, Phyllis J. Henderson.Ron leaves to cherish his memory twin brother, Dr. Donald (Carlette) Henderson of Maumelle, AR; his Beloved, Teresa "Renee" McClellan and her children; his children, Phyllis (Andre), John Benjamin, Alexander Choma and Roni Nicole; a wealth of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and a community of friends and extended family.
