Obituary Robert Lee Gamble son of the late James Gamble, Sr and Edna Epps Gamble was born December 13, 1968 in Manning, SC. Robert "Woo Woo" attended the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Sumter High School, home of the fighting Gamecocks. He was employed at Roof Company for many years until transferring to his past job Land Roofing. Robert loved the Sumter Community. He was a father and a friend to many. He was a hard worker. He was a very protective brother that would move mountains if he could. He loved to have fun and live his life just like that. He was an all-around person that didn't bother no one until you bother him. He was a genuine, caring, giving, and loving person. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pearl Epps Preston, two uncles and two aunts. His loving memories will be cherished by his step-daughter, Tasha Greenwood of Sumter, SC; three brothers, James Gamble, Larry Gamble and Johnny (Sandra) Gamble; three sisters, Carolyn (Cornelius) Wilson and Chiffon (James) Hodge all of Sumter, SC and Anna (Rodney) Cooper of Charlotte, NC; aunt, Anna Margaret Williams of Darlington, SC; two uncles, Walter (Lily) Preston and MC "Stanley" Preston of Sumter, SC; half-sister, Shelby Jean Kennedy; special friend, Patrick Vaughn, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.   To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Robert, please visit our floral store.
