Robert Cabbagestalk

Robert Lee Cabbagestalk, 69, was the son of the late Richard Cabbagestalk and the late Mariah “Lee” Blackwell Cabbagestalk. He was born on July 12, 1956, in Sumter, South Carolina. Robert was the second of three children.

Robert received his early education in the public schools of Sumter County and was a graduate of Mayewood High School, Class of 1976. He was employed with the City of Sumter for numerous years and he also served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mariah “Lee” Cabbagestalk, and his brother, Jimmy Cabbagestalk.

On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Robert entered into eternal rest in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Michael Cabbagestalk of the home; aunt, Martha B. (Sylvester) Culbreath of Sumter, SC; along with numerous cousins and friends.

Robert will be dearly remembered by all who knew him, especially for his ability to make anyone laugh.
