She was the wife of the late Freddie Dennis, Jr. Queen was educated in the public schools of Sumter, South Carolina. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Rembert, South Carolina. She later moved to the Greater Mt. Pisgah Church, Sumter, SC. She was an active member until her health declined. Queen loved talking and singing about the love of the Lord. She enjoyed taking care of her family, fishing and gardening. Queen gained her heavenly wings on August 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Dennis, Jr.; son, Joseph Dennis; daughter, Lonna Kate Dennis; two grandchildren, David Earl Alston and Allen Miller; two great-great grandchildren, Denim Treshaun Dennis and Syncere Williams; four brothers and eight sisters. Queen Miller Dennis leaves to cherish her loving memories, two sons, Bobby Miller and Freddie Dennis III; eight daughters, Lillie D. McLaurin, Lottie Cabbagestalk, Janie (John) Toney, Deloris Harris, Rebecca D. (Abraham) Carolina, Patricia D. Green, Vivian Dennis, and Gwendolyn (Steve) Porter; thirty three grandchildren; seventy-four great grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
