Patricia Ann McKnight was born February 22, 1967, in Sumter, SC to the late Wesley and Pearlee Gaymon McKnight. Patricia was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a member of the graduating Class of 1985 of Mayewood High School. Patricia was employed by Becton-Dickinson of Sumter for twenty-three years. She loved to read, going to movies and spending time with family and friends. She would always provide encouraging words to those she met. Patricia accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and attended St. Matthews Baptist Church, as well as Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and her church family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Pearlee Gaymon McKnight. Patricia departed this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Sumter. Patricia leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Darlene Daniels; niece, Carrie Daniels of Sumter; nephews, Marlon Daniels of Sumter and Isaac (Ashley) Daniels of Killeen, TX; grandniece, Shamera; grandnephews, Martez and Marquez; special aunts, Rosa Mae McKnight, Janie Lou McKnight and Earline McKnight; a special cousin, Velvery McCoy; special friend, Shirley Goodman and a host of other relatives and friends who are saddened by her passing.
