Nicholas James "Nick" Peoples

Nicholas James Peoples, affectionately known as “Nick” was born October 27, 1999, in Sumter, SC to Karen Dinkins and Kevin Peoples. Nicholas was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Lakewood High School in 2018. Nicholas enjoyed fast cars, money, traveling and raising his dogs. Nick loved and cared for his family and always protected those people in his presence. He would walk in the room very quietly, however his energy would set the tone in that room for the rest of the day. He had a love for anything that made him happy. Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Peoples; grandfathers, Robert Peoples and Jacob Dinkins; three uncles, Robert Daniels, Julius Daniels and Bobby Peoples; and a special cousin, Erica Singletary. Nick departed this life on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Greenville, SC. Nicolas “Nick” Peoples leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Karen Dinkins of Greenville, SC; father, Kevin Peoples of Sumter, SC; four sisters, Amelia Angel Peoples of Columbia, SC, Akasha Jones of Sumter, SC, Asha Barno of Alexandria, VA and Taylor (Logan Keels) Blackwell of Columbia, SC; five brothers, (Takaya Taylor), Noah Peoples of Sumter, SC, Kevin Peoples, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC, Keaton June of Sumter, SC and Isaac Dinkins of Sumter, SC; grandmother, Rovenia Dinkins of Sumter, SC; six uncles, Darren Dinkins of Sumter, SC, Eric June of Sumter, SC, Eric Abrams of Sumter, SC, Rico Abrams of Sumter, SC, Tal Johnson of Columbia, SC, Darryl Peoples of Columbia, SC and Robert Peoples, Jr. of Sumter, SC; five aunts, Maxine Johnson of Columbia, SC, Joyce Abrams of Sumter, SC, Janice Abrams of Sumter, SC, Trisha Peoples of Sumter, SC and Deborah Abrams of Sumter, SC; godmother, Lashawn Cesar; special brothers, Tahj Vaughn, Shawn Kelly and Tyreek Butler, all of Sumter, SC, Keyshawn Crockett of Greenville, SC and Victor Miller of Manning, SC; three special cousins, Briana Johnson and Tal Johnson, Jr., both of Columbia, SC and Zion Vaughn of Sumter, SC; two special friends, Teundra Shumate of Greenville, SC and Namiyah Booker of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of special cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
