Mills was born July 30, 1946 in Lee County, to the late Sammie and Mattie Jenkins LeGrant and the widow of the late Charles Mills.Mildred was employed by Lee County School District where she retired after 38 years of service. She had a passion for traveling, cooking and serving delicious meals to family and friends.She was a member of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church where she served as Church Clerk and on the Usher's Ministry. She was a lifelong member of Lee Section N.C.N.W and Past Matron, Queen of Lynchburg Chapter # 247 O.E.S.She departed this life on Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Lynchburg, South Carolina.She leaves to cherish precious memories; a brother, Sammie J. LeGrant, Lynchburg, SC, four sisters; M. Deloris LeGrant and Donna Scott, Lynchburg, SC, Rochelle D. Jenkins, Bronx, NY and Rosetta James, Florence, SC, three nephews reared in the home as sons; Terrance L. (Monique) LeGrant, Sr., Indian Trail, NC, Derrick L.
