"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." Psalm 23:1 Michelle Denise Dargan was born on July 19, 1964, in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Marion Dargan and the late Wilhemina Wilson Dargan. Michelle was educated in the public schools of Sumter County, South Carolina. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Michelle was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Carter; her uncle, Early Wilson; two nephews, Willie Chatman and Jaquell Chatman. Michelle departed this life on Thursday, February 15, 2024, in North Charleston, South Carolina. Michelle leaves to cherish her precious memories, seven sisters, Diana (Edward) Dinkins, Linda (Edward) Wilson, Valencia Heyward, Cynthia (Gerald Wilson) Dargan, Christa (John) Clark, Gloria Nelson and Andrea Teresa Golden, all of Sumter, South Carolina; three brothers, Maxie Wilson and Willie Wilson, both of Sumter, South Carolina and Clarence Taylor of Columbia, South Carolina; four nieces whom she raised as her own, Ny'Inna Clark, Marcia Heyward, Rickayla Dargan and LaToya B. McWilliams, all of Sumter, South Carolina; special nephew, Jamir Smith; two special nieces, Legaci Davidson and JaNora Levell; sister-in-law, Audrey S. Wilson; brother-in-law, Allen Heyward; three special friends, Bernice Shaw, Sheryl Goldsmith and Ethel Glover; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. "God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered, "Come Home". Though on earth you are no more, but in memory, you will be with us always."
