Obituary Michael Corey Portee Sigler was born June 2, 1997 to Tywanda Portee Thompson and Michael Sigler in Sumter, South Carolina.  He departed this life on September 18, 2019 at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC.   He received his education n the public schools of Sumter County.  Michael graduated from Lakewood High School and was a member of the Class of 2016. Michael enjoyed playing video games.  He was also an avid football game watcher and his favorite NFL team was the Pittsburg Steelers.  In addition to spending time with his family, Michael also enjoyed hanging out with his best friends, Christopher Thompson, Shiheem Wells, and Cedric Thompson. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Emma Portee, maternal great-grandfather, Herman McLeod and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Mae Sigler. Michael leaves to cherish his memories:  parents, Tywanda Portee Thompson and Michael Sigler; maternal grandmother, Queenie Canty; grandfather, Raffield (Willie Mae) Choice; great-grandfather, Theodore Portee; great-grandmother, Thomasina McLeod; three brothers, Ty'Quan Lawson, Kewaumie Lackey, and Joshua Lackey; one sister, Ty'Kesa Portee; two uncles, Shaun Sigler and Dennis Sigler; two aunts, Crystal (Eric) Rhames and Janice Sigler; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
