Obituary Michael Phillip Richburg known as "Mike" born February 16, 1977 in Manning, SC to Lanelle DesChamps and the late James Phillip Richburg.   Michael received his formal education in the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Furman High School in 1994.  He later entered and served in the United States Navy.  He then went on to become a certified heavy diesel and auto mechanic and a manager with Auto Connections, Portsmouth, VA for over twenty years.  He was a member of Tidewater Masonic Lodge #106 in Norfolk, VA and the Shriner-Arabian Temple in Portsmouth, VA.Michael was preceded in death by his father James Phillip Richburg, brother Kevin Richburg, his paternal grandparents Robert & Gracie Richburg, his maternal grandparents Louis & Lala Margrett DesChamps-Bennett.Michael departed this life on Monday, May 20, 2019 in Portal, GA. Michael is survived by his mother Lanelle DesChamps, his son Jayden Barnes, Chesapeake, VA, three daughters Aaleeyah Valmont of Savannah, GA, Kristian Richburg of Hampton, VA, Jordan Barnes of Chesapeake, VA, two brothers Steve S Mack of Portal, GA, James Richburg of Manning, SC, four sisters LaTonya Woodberry (Roderick) of Savannah, GA, Latoshia Cantey of Atlanta, GA, Yushika Cantey of Columbia, SC, Quinn Grooms (TJ) of Chicago, IL, nine aunts, five uncles, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
