Obituary On November 8, 1961, Michael Anthony Ballard was born to the late Mr. Johnny Lee and Mary Lee Abrams Ballard of Sumter, South Carolina.  He was the third of six children. Michael departed this life on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, in Sumter. Michael was a bright and industrious child.  He attended grade school and graduated from Sumter High School May 1980.  Michael demonstrated his range of compassion and ability through his knowledge of construction, mechanical and roofing. Michael leaves to cherish his memory and reflect on his life:  his sisters, Sharon McCoy, Betty B.
