Obituary Life ReflectionsMrs. Maxine Olivia Ervin Tillman was born February 2, 1945 in Atlantic City, NJ to the late James and Estelle Osborne Ervin.Maxine was raised in Charlotte, NC and was educated in the public schools of Mecklenburg County and was a graduate of West Charlotte High School.In 1945, her grandmother placed her name on the role at the United House of Prayer for All People and later she received the Holy Ghost and the Mighty Burning Fire. She served faithfully as a member of the Usher Board, McCollough Endurers, McCollough Brass Band (Flag Girl), Combine Fellowship Coalition and the Bailey Angels.Maxine was married to the late Allen Tillman and to this union four children were born; Temonia, LaTonya, Anthony and Alton.In addition to her husband and parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Tillman, brother, C. C. Osborne and sister, Joyce Ann Richardson.The Lord saw fit to call her from labor to reward on Friday, November 20, 2015 in Charlotte, NC.Maxine is survived by two daughters, Temonia Tillman-Davis (Robert) of Charlotte, NC and LaTonya Tillman (Fiancé, Donald ) of Atlanta, GA; son, Alton Tillman (Cecilia), Charlotte, NC; sixteen grandchildren, - ; twenty-six great grandchildren; sister, Brenda Jackson (Kenny), Charlotte, NC; father and mother-in-law, Allen (Corrie) Tillman, Charlotte, NC; god son, John (Jay Wood) Anderson; god daughter, Melissa Hill and a host of other relatives and friends.
