Mary Lee Sessions Walters, daughter of the late Lyman and Melvinia Days Session, was born on June 17, 1939 in Summterton, SC. Mary Lee attended the public schools of Clarendon County, SC and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was employed at Pioneer, LTD for numerous years until she retired. Mary Lee, as she was affectionally called, attended Taw Caw Baptist Church in Summerton, SC, where she received Christ as her Lord and Savior. Later in life, she joined Rock Hill Baptist Church in Manning, SC and was united in holy matrimony to Sammie Lee Walters. Mary Lee was preceded in death by seven sisters, Gladys, Christine, Beulah, Lille, Leola, Georgia, and Sue; and two brothers, James and Earvin. Mary Lee's rose was chosen to go home to the Master and finish growing on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Prisma Health Tuomey. Mary Lee leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, daughter, Tora T. Walters, of the home; seven grandchildren, Marcus Frierson, Sammie Montgomery, Quintin Weldon, Lakesah Cooley, Monique Taylor, Tanasia Walters, and Tyleek Walters, all of Sumter, SC; seventeen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces. nephews. cousins and friends.
