Mary Lue Ingram was born on September 6, 1953, in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Annie Mae McKenzie and the late Ernest Ingram. Mary was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She worked as a nurse technician at Palmetto Baptist Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harry and Rosa Prince James, and her paternal grandparents, George and Lenora Potts Ingram. Mary departed this life on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Sumter, South Carolina. Mary leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Quiton (Levante') Ingram of Baltimore, Maryland and Brandon Ingram of Sumter, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Brandon Ingram Jr. and Baby Ingram; ten brothers and sisters, George (Bridget) Ingram, Sammie James, Allen (Robin) Ingram, Dorothy Newton, Diane Dickens, Annette Wise, Leslie Reaves, Earnesteen (Ronald) Nero, Gloria James and Carolyn Wilson; a special aunt, Lillie Mae Chandler and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
