Mary Bell Hinnant was born January 1, 1947, in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Nora Lee Tisdale. Mary was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a graduate of Eastern High School. She was employed by Korns Manufacturing. In addition to her mother, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Robert Tisdale; and a sister, Nora Ann Tisdale Graham. Quietly and peacefully on December 13, 2025, at Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation, Mary Bell Hinnant was called to Glory. Mary leaves to cherish her memories, three grandchildren, Raessha (Ra-Ra) Tisdale, Robert (Arey) Tisdale, and Marlana Woods; siblings, Deloris (Norman)Dwyer; Floyd Tisdale, and Benjamin (Maxine) Tisdale, all of Sumter, South Carolina; one aunt, Lillie Mae Chandler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
