Mary Lou Hannibal was born August 19, 1941, in Mayesville, Lee County, South Carolina to William and Evelina Myers Hannibal. Mary was educated in the public schools of Lee County. Mary dedicated her life to Christ Jesus and became a member of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Mayesville, South Carolina. She was a dedicated and faithful member until her health failed.  Mary loved spending time with her loving family as well as her spiritual family. She will certainly be missed by all those who loved her. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by one sister, Elouise Hannibal Edwards; two brothers-in-law, Henry Wilson, Jr. and Michael L. Edwards, Sr.; nephews, Henry Wilson III and Michael Edwards, Jr. and one grandniece, Brenda Louise Edwards. Mary Lou Hannibal made her transition from earth to her Heaven on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation. Mary leaves behind to cherish her precious memories, one sister, Henrietta Wilson; three brothers, Elijah (Bessie) Hannibal, Robert (Dosetta) Hannibal and John (Betty) Hannibal; a niece raised in the home, Deloris Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews in which she had the pleasure of assisting in their upbringing as well as cousins, other relatives and friends.
