Mary Weston Bradford was born August 10, 1947, in Sumter, South Carolina to the late James and Carrie Lou Spann Weston. Mary was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a member of the graduating class at Ebenezer High School. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized at an early age at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Dalzell, South Carolina. Mary was employed at Gold Kist until she retired. Mary loved her children, nieces, nephews and granddaughter. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bradford; parents, James and Carrie Lou Weston; maternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Spann; paternal grandparents; two sisters, Shirley Anderson and Bernice Smith; two brothers, Johnny Weston and Sydney Weston; nephew, Clarence T. Weston Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harmon and Annie Bradford; and sister-in-law, Irene Bradford. Mary departed this life on Thursday, November 21, 2024, in Columbia, South Carolina. Mary leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Libby E. Weston of Sumter, South Carolina; two sons, Christopher M. Bradford and Eric (Mildred) Bradford, both of Anderson, South Carolina; one granddaughter, Jalen M. Bradford of Sumter, South Carolina; three brothers, Clarence (Juanita) Weston, Isaac (Estelle) Weston, both of Sumter, South Carolina and Joseph (Mildred) Weston of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two sisters-in-law, Lucinda Bradford and Patricia Ann Bradford, both of Sumter, South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Harmon Bradford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and dear friends.
