Obituary Mary Prince Benjamin, was born January 18, 1923 to the late Thaddeus Prince and Elsie Benjamin in Clarendon County, South Carolina.  She departed this life on September 13, 2019 at MUSC Carolinas Health Hospital in Florence, SCShe received her education in the public schools of Sumter County.  At an early age she accepted Christ and was a member of Goodwill Presbyterian Church.  As a young adult she moved to Mayesville and joined the Trinity Presbyterian Church where she was a faithful member for 56 years.She was a faithful member of the Usher Board, and the homecoming committee.   She worked most of her life serving as a domestic engineer.  She loved working in her garden and building things.  She was married to the late Junes Benjamin.She had a generous heart and would help anybody that she could.  She never complained about anything that came in her life no matter how challenging.  Her memories will be cherished by her family and all those who truly loved her and will certainly be missed in her community.Mary P. leaves to cherish her precious memories; one daughter, Shirley Ann Wilson of Mayesville; one grand-daughter, Shyrle M. L. Benjamin of Ft. Worth, Texas; two great grandchildren, Daurrion Kelly of Bishopville, SC and Junes T. Benjamin of Ft. Worth Texas; two brother, Eddie Lee Harvin of Mayesville, and John (Ray) Harvin of Sumter; a sister-in-law, Susan Harvin; a special nephew, Thomas Benjamin of Rochester, NY; and a host of nieces and grand nieces, nephews and grand nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by; four brothers, Wallace Prince, Spencer Prince, James Prince, Junious Harvin; four sisters, Lou Ida Mitchell, Fannie Lou Davis, and Willie Mae Washington and Geneva Polk.
