Martha Williams was born on December 26, 1955, to her loving parents, the late Willie and Maggie Brunson Williams. Martha spent most of her adult years attending the Gibbs Activity Center in Lee County, South Carolina. She loved spending time with her family, dancing, listening to music, and having fun. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by three sisters, Willie Mae King, Eleanor Williams, and Sadie Williams; two brothers, Harry Lee Williams and Howard Williams; and two nephews, Jermaine Williams and Quintin Williams. Martha transitioned into eternal rest on the afternoon of January 17, 2024. Martha leaves to cherish her memories, brother, Will Rogers Williams; sister and guardian for the past thirty-three years, Irene Rose; sisters-in-law, Ruth Williams and Mary Williams; twelve nieces, Michelle Judon, Carolyn Peterson, Gwendolyn Williams, Dr. Bertha (Russell) W. McCants, Ruthie Williams, Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Green, Carolyn Hooper, Debora (Roland) Goodman, Mabel Williams, Shonda (Harold) Eaton, Felecia (McArthur) McCants and Sharell Brooks; six nephews, Charlie Williams, Jermone Williams, Andre (Rhonda) Williams, Jeffery Williams, Adrian (Candice) Lesane, and Marcus Williams; and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews, family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
