Obituary Marion Lee Johnson, Jr. affectionally known as "Bobe" was born March 9, 1954 in Manning, SC to the late Esther Witherspoon and Junior Johnson. Early in life, Marion joined the Church of Christ. He attended the public schools in Paxville, SC. His earthly life came to an end on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved daughter, Anjanette Anderson of Savannah, GA; three brothers, Clarence Johnson, Rickey (Crystal) Johnson and Christopher (Trina) Johnson all of Sumter, SC; a sister, Virginia Jenkins of Sumter, SC; a devoted friend, Dorothy Jean Woods of Sumter, SC; seven grandchildren; six uncles, Marion Witherspoon of Wilmington, DE, Omie Witherspoon, Robert McKnight and Charles Sweat all of Sumter, SC, Cleveland (Roberta) Sweat of Manning, SC and Calvin Johnson of Pinewood, SC; eight aunts, Mattie (Harold) Gregg, Robertha (Franklin) Richardson, Minnie Witherspoon, Nancy Rose and Edith Sweat all of Sumter, SC, Rebecca (Roosevelt) Sinkler of Pinewood, SC, Victoria Gibson of Orangeburg, SC and Eartha Johnson of Manning, SC and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.     To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Marion Lee Johnson, Jr., please visit our floral store.
