Obituary Mrs. Margie L. Francis was born April 18, 1940 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Isaac and Jessie Jennings. She was the wife of the late Sylvester Francis, Jr.She was employed by Wateree Community Action and later became a homemaker. Mrs. Francis spent many years providing care for many children. She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastors Larry W. and Evangeline Barnes. She later became a watch care Member of Cross Road Christian Fellowship Ministries under the leadership of her son, Apostle Sylvester Francis, III.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie Mae McBride and Dorothy Wiggins and three brothers, Murray Jennings, Isaac Jennings and Tony Jennings.She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in Florence, South Carolina.Mrs. Francis leaves to carry on her legacy four children; Evet (Gary) Jones of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Marion Francis of Ft. Worth, Texas, Apostle Sylvester (Pastor Samantha) Francis and Minister Stacey Francis of Sumter, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Corwin, Cedric, Tyron, Kahlil, Daisha and KeeShante and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Evangelist Marie Jones; special nephew, Marvin McBride and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
