Mabelle (Betty) Williams was born on July 4, 1954, in Mayesville, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Annie Lee Williams and the late George Pearson Jr., and a stepdaughter of the late C.W. Williams Sr.  At an early age, Mabelle moved to Sarasota, Florida, where she attended the public schools of Sarasota and was a graduate of Sarasota High School.  After graduation, Mabelle moved back to South Carolina where she was a devoted Home Health Care Field Provider for over fifty (50) years, until her demise.  In addition to her parents, Mabelle was preceded in death by a sister, Victoria (Barbara) Williams; maternal grandparents; Mabelle Williams and Lee Mack Williams; paternal grandparents; Viola Hawkins Pearson and George Pearson Sr.     Mabelle departed this life on May 30, 2025, at 10:10 in the morning, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence, South Carolina.  Mabelle leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, three brothers, George (Shonda) Williams of Stone Mountain, Georgia; C. W. (Helen) Williams, Jr. of Columbia, South Carolina, and Deacon Zolia (Elizabeth) Williams of Sarasota, Florida; one special goddaughter, Kenitra Pontoon; three special god-children; lifelong partner for thirty (30) years, Terry McGaulty of Sumter, South Carolina; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, special cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
