Mr. Louis Sigler was born on November 25, 1947 to the late Joseph and Jessie Mae Butler Sigler. Louis attended and graduated Eastern High School. He worked in the farming and construction businesses. In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his daughter, Michell McClain; brother, Johnny Lee Butler; two sisters, Mary Emma Sigler Prioleau and Louise Sigler; four brothers-in-law, Elehue McFadden, Richard Lee, Bishop Sam Miller, and Abraham McDowell. Louis departed this life on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, South Carolina. Louis leaves to cherish his memories five children, Brianca Sigler, John "Eric" McLeod, William McFadden, Patricia McLeod, and Michelle McClain; fifteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nine sisters, Elizabeth Miller, Josephine Lee, Rosa Mae McDowell, Eva Mae (Curtis) Johnson, Annie Mae (Toni) Richardson, all of Sumter, South Carolina, Alice (James) Jackson of Olanta, South Carolina, Martha Burgess of Greenville, South Carolina, Carrie McFadden of New Jersey, and Hattie Bell (Robert) Laws of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; three brothers, Joseph (Ruth) Sigler, Jimmy (Lela) Sigler of Sumter, South Carolina, and John Black of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and a host of other family members and dear friends.
