Obituary Mrs. Linda Marchella Williams-Coleman was born April 27, 1958 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Frances Bradley and Ben Williams. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a graduate of Mayewood High School. She worked at Becton Dickinson for 37 years and retired in 2017. Linda was an active member of the St. Paul AME Church, where she participated in the Gospel Deliverance Choir and served as a seamstress. Linda departed her earthly life on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Columbia, South Carolina. She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances Bradley Williams, father, Ben Williams, maternal grandparents, Irene and Charlie Bradley and paternal grandparents French and Ellaree Brogdon Williams. She leaves to cherish her precious memories; her husband of fourty years, Tony Coleman; four children, Tegia Coleman-Rochester (Errol), Treginald Coleman (Denise), Jacquelyne Battle (Fletcher) and Kyle Coleman; five grandchildren; (Errol Keyshawn Rochester, Naya Kalyne Battle, Cole Eian Rochester, Skyla Nuraya Battle, and Chloe Liana Rochester) and one great-grandchild (Kenzie Rochester); seven siblings, Gwendolyn Crawford (Otis), Marvin Williams (Brenda), Patricia Williams, Debbie Ann Roberts (Jeremiah), Gregory Williams (Lisa), Tracey Williams (Lateca), and Natoshia Williams; her special cousin who she considered her sister, Alfreda Spann; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
