Lillie Ann Fowler Shorter was born on March 3, 1934 the of the late Sylvester Benjamin and Mary Lyles Fowler.
Lillie Ann was employed at Hayden Stones Stock Exchange and had a maintenance business and ceramic shop. She was an artist, known as a "jack of all trades". There wasn't anything that she couldn't do if she put her mind to it. "Life will never be the same without her."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Madison Shorter and siblings, Ben, Inez, Elzina, Rosmond, Bentley, Ruby and Ellis.
Lillie Ann departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Sumter, South Carolina.
Lillie Ann leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Ardenne Tucker, Joseph Bright Jr, Quinette Anderson, Ira Shorter, Tonia Branch, and Ronell Shorter; grandson, Korey Shorter, whom she raised; siblings, Lorraine, Evonne, Dallas and Elmer; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
