Obituary Leroy Gibson "aka Mut, passed peacefully from this life on the evening  of December 3, 2019. Born January 13, 1953 in Manning SC, he was a son of Virginia Walters Gibson and the late Johnny Gibson.During his youth, he was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Manning SC. In his latter years he followed and fellowshipped at the Grace Cathedral Ministries, Sumter SC where Bishop Anthony Gibson is pastor . And in his final days, he rededicated his life back to Christ.Leroy was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County and was a graduate of Manning High School, Class of 1973.Leroy was first employed with L&J Construction, Manning, and later with Johns Plumbing Company until he became disable. Leroy "aka" Mut, met the love of his life Ella Rea C. Gibson, and to this union, their one and only loving son Anthony Gibson was born.Leroy loved his family from the depths of his heart. If you wanted to find "Mut", it would be with family and friends. He was known by everyone for his "one liners" .He loved laughing and joking with people. and other times, he would be enjoying his other hobbies, spending time outdoors and shooting pool. And last but not least, he cherished his two gifts Bishop Anthony and Lady Chaste'y blessed him with, his grandsons, Collin and Corbin.In addition to his Father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Gibson and Larry Gibson.To cherish his memory; his loving son Anthony Gibson and daughter in love Chaste'y Rayford Gibson, the love of his life; Ella Rea Gibson, his loving   grandsons; Collin and Corbin, his devoted mother, Virginia Walters Gibson; five   sisters; Barbra G. (Robert) Robinson, Delores G. (Roosevelt) Frasier, Carolyn G. (Perry) Langston, Joanne G. (Otis) Elam, and Janet G. (Victor) Ward;  six brothers, Albert Junior Gibson, Clyde (Susie) Gibson, LD (Cathy) Gibson, Bernell Gibson (Ginny, deceased), Harold (Odessa) Gibson and Johnny Marvin Gibson, his aunts: Ella Mae Pearson of Sumter, SC; sister in-law, Theresa Gibson Segars, additional   siblings, Thomas,  Matraylee, Willie Lee, Leroy, Larry and Johnny, additional sister-in-law, Maggie, Rhunette, Bertha and a host of Nieces, Nephews Cousins and loving friends who will always cherish his life and love.
